Yunnan Baiyao is a traditional Chinese herbal formula, built around notoginseng root, that has been used for generations to support healthy circulation and the body's normal clotting. Veterinarians sometimes include it in a pet's plan around surgery, dental procedures, or for ongoing support.

Use Yunnan Baiyao only under the direction of your veterinarian. Active bleeding, pale gums, weakness, collapse, or a swollen belly is an emergency: take your pet to a veterinarian right away.

Directions for Use:

• Give only as directed by your veterinarian, who will set the right dose and schedule for your pet. Your veterinarian will aim for the lowest effective amount.
• General label guidelines (your veterinarian may adjust):
  • Cats and dogs under 10 lbs: 1 capsule by mouth once daily
  • Cats and dogs 10–30 lbs: 1 capsule by mouth twice daily
  • Dogs 31–60 lbs: 2 capsules by mouth twice daily
  • Dogs over 60 lbs: 2 capsules three times daily
• The label suggests giving on alternating days, or on a repeating 5-days-on, 5-days-off cycle.
• Each blister pack also contains one separate red capsule under the foil in the center of the pack. Use it only if your veterinarian specifically instructs you to.

Warnings/Considerations:

• If the amount is too high, pets may show signs similar to dehydration: diarrhea, frequent urination, increased thirst, or a dry or cracked nose and paws. Allergic reactions are rare. If you notice any of these, stop giving it and contact your veterinarian.
